Anthrocon 2011 Wrapup!
Another great year in Pittsburgh has come and gone! 4,400 furries from 39 countries came to the convention this year, with 854 fursuits in the fursuit parade. All were record numbers. We also raised $11,522 for this year's charity: The Toonseum.

We will see you all back in Pittsburgh next year, for Anthrocon 2012, held from June 21st to June 24th, 2012. The theme will be "A Midsummer Night’s Dream".

I am really glad I attended AC. It was the best con I've ever been to. I'm totally looking forward to next year. 
I just took the survey. I thought it was going to be longer than just one page.

The software is written. (it's the same as the last two years) We just need to put the 2012 membership levels in and we'll be ready to go.
That said, please let us take a few weeks off to recover.

My first con and it was amazing! I had more fun that weekend than I have ever had and I want to thank everyone who made it all possible!!! I will make it my goal to attend AC every year now and next year I'm doing super sponsor since to me its worth every penny.
Anthrocon 2011 was a total blast! I really enjoyed hanging out with people, getting to know others, and helping out where I could. Bag stuffing was a LOT of fun, as was hanging with the Art Show Crew (Seriously, I love you guys, and I'm not even in your department!)!
Not only am I looking forward to next year, but I'm looking forward to all of the goodies I get to make in InDesign for the con! \o/

Somewhat amusingly... are we monopolizing the hotels?
There wasn't a single hotel that I've been at this year that wasn't filled with furries. But they loved us. ^_^
I think Pittsburgh has become our "home away from home" now. Six years, and I personally feel some sort of connection to the city.
I think it's love. 
Yes I was quite amused at how the bulk of the places I went were full of furries, that may be a big "no duh!" lol but in my opinion your standard pittsburgh citizen was few and far between. I know I exaggerate but honestly there were tails and suits every time I turned my head and it was awesome!
I had a great time. Mostly hung out at the Art Show and wouldn't have changed a second of it. A big Thank you to everyone for all your hard work. I look forward to harassing... I mean seeing you all again next year.
Anthrocon for me was just one long streak of WOOOOOOOOO! All week, from Wednesday to Monday...

I had fun in 2009 (that was my first ever furcon) i had fn again in 2010 and i would have had more fun in 2011 if i had not been sick for the one day that i was there but i will be back again in 2012 for even more fun
It was a great con this year, I really have enjoyed it , the 5 hour drive from Toronto is worth the trip.
