Salutations all, I am making my first fursuit ever and i am ecstatic. I have some experience in sewing, but there are many aspects that would appreciate some criticism from others.I've been collecting supplies for more than six months and so far, i have sewn the hand paws and i am working on the latex paw pads and the sculpy claws. Planning on a balacav head, gauged wire tail and (eventually) a furred body suit. Something i have been needing some help with is the ears. My fursona is a collie/wolf mix and i wanted a white mane with floppy 'puppy ears.' I have tried contacting various fursuit makers in the past to see how they did it, however they never really contacted me back to give me an answer. Below is the basic design for the legs (please forgive the porportions, im usually a bit better when it comes to drawing but its really hard with just a mouse lol), something thats giving me as much apprehension as making the mask lol. Also i plan on posting the process on Youtube Laughing out loud. Thanks alot!

This is a better site to get opinions and assistance (in the form of suggestions and tips) for making costumes.  There's a lot more people checking that site for this type of topic. I suggest posting there if you have a livejournal account.  There's good resource links from that community as well.

this is a very helpful site for Balacava base tutorial and other parts of making suits ^.^
