Furr Length
I am using a 1 1/2" pile length lilac fur for my head and feet but it was too long so I had to shave it down. The shaving part is taking too long because my clippers are messed up. So if anybody can help me find shorter fur of that same color for my first fursuit, that would be awsome. X'3
Thanks for the advice but sadly I've resorted cutting it. I know cutting it is not the best thing to do, especially if you dont know how, but I've mastered it my way and it still looks gud. The only problem i'm having now is deciding if I should keep the hair on my fursuit since my fursona has hair.
Some long shags are used for hair on suits as well. not many i know actully uses hair like wigs.
Yah, the black shag in my picture is what I'm using for my hair, though it doesn't quite ressemble my fursona that much.
Buying shorter fur than the normal 'shag' pile is not always a good idea. I know of a friend that didn't have clippers and bought a large amount of 'short' plie fur and it was very bad quality. I would recamend getting your razor fixed. I use fur from DF and sometimes fabric.com. There 'shag' piles are soft and fluffy.
