Ok , so some reporter called Judith Boulet is going throught the furry mailing list and communities right now for some "Sex Shop" show .. She posted a message on the monfur (Montreal Furry) group and I was on lj earlier and she had posted one there as well.. I think it would be better in the interest of EVERYONE if no one answered her invitations to participate to any kind of interview .. I think the reasons are obvious and if you don't get what I'm trying to warn you about .. go look on the net for those sex2k videos.. Just don't do it .. please? -Mapdark , Montreal furry |

I did some Googling on her and her "show".
I wasn't able to find much of anything.
This makes me question if she really is who she claims to be.

Well being from Montreal .. I can at least confirm that there is a show called sex shop running on TQS..
I agree it kinda sounds weird as normally it's Anne-Marie Losique running it .. but I say , it's better to prevent then to heal..

I think that the poor lady was misinformed as to the nature of our convention. I'll drop her a line this evening and will tell her politely that she needs to look somewhere else.

In a discreet business suit, I can avoid any and all reporters... and will continue to do so.

My solution is to simply wear my suit. Since it's common knowledge that most people refuse to speak in suit, my silence won't be mistaken for hiding something.... and it's really hard to say the wrong thing with only body movements.... unless you start doing pelvic thrusts... Yeah, that would probably send the wrong signal.

Indeed, I sent her a very polite note explaining that she had something of a mistaken impression as to the nature of Anthrocon. She was apologetic and professional about it.

permalinkI hope it goes well. I for one do not enjoy the paparazzi sensationalizing everything. After the news reports last year, I am loathe to walk from the Omni to the Center in fursuit.
I have a question relating to this I will ask in the "First Time Con Goers" section.
