At what time does AC open everyday and at what time does it close for the day?

The schedule start/end times tend to look much the same from year to year.

With that in mind, a good guideline would be last year's schedule,

which is found at http://www.anthrocon.org/schedule

That's no guarantee, but if I were a betting man, that's what I would use
as a guideline.

Keep in mind those are downloadable PDFs.

Depends on what PART of the con you're talking about.

The Operations Office is open 24/7, as is the zoo. The Dealers' Room, Artists Alley, and Art Show are open during daytime hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The exact hours will be announced closer to the con, and put on the front page of the site.

Is your parent attending the con? If so, then yes.

But it's no different than if two unrelated people were attending the convention.
