Younger Furry at convention?
Hi! Im a 13 year old furry and i really want to go to the convention. Like, in a year or two. I will have a fursuit by then, or partial fursuit, but i have a few questions,
-can younger furries attend most activities?
-Can i even wear my suit in the con?
-Will there be other young furries there?
-In all, what should i expect at the convention, being a young furry?
Any advice would help, but mostly advice from young furries who have attended the convention.
-can younger furries attend most activities?
Yes, absolutely. There are some adult comedy shows, the Adult Art Show/Auction, the nude Life Drawing Panel (There are also clothed ones), and perhaps 1-2 other events. Everythign else is appropriate and available for all ages.
-Can i even wear my suit in the con?
Absolutely. And you don't need a fursuit to attend Anthrocon, to note.
-Will there be other young furries there?
There will be; The majority of our attendees are in the 18-30 age bracket, but we have attendees of all ages, and there's a good number of teens that attend each year. You won't be alone.
-In all, what should i expect at the convention, being a young furry?
As long as you've got everything in order to attend- which usually requires close co-ordination with parents for things like booking hotels- you'll have the same experience as most, enjoying the wonder of Anthrocon. You may feel a little lost or bewildered at times, as Anthrocon is big- but relax, understand this happens to most people their first year, and relax. Have a good time without trying to hard to have THE BEST TIME EVAR.
My daughter is 15 and has been coming to AC for many years now. There are quite a few mid-teen fans coming these days and you would have no trouble finding folks your age around the convention.
Alright! I'm glad to hear it ^^ thank you!

the only things that are for 18 and up are the adult auction, some comedy shows, artists adult folders and the BD table (i've probably missed something but i'm sure somefur will correct me if i have)
Due to economic recession and budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off, we're sorry for the inconvenience.
