Furstivus - a Philadelphia furry con this New Year

The New Year's Furry Ball (normally held in Delaware) is taking a break this year. Filling that gap, for this upcoming new year only, a brand new furry convention will be taking its place.

Furstivus is being held on Route 1 at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia West (former location of Furtasticon and former Anthrocon overflow hotel) from Friday, December 30th, 2011 to Sunday, January 1st, 2012.

The convention bids farewell to 2011 and welcomes the new year with a weekend full of friends, holiday celebrations, fursuit shenanigans, music, art and entertainment!

As much as I'd love to attend, I'm afraid I won't ring in the upcoming new year at this con.  Had I known about this sooner, I would definitely go. :(


I might, however celebrate the arrival of 2013 at Furstivus if this con is still around at that time.
