younger fur goin alone?
Well, what kind of things are you interested in? Furries, you say? Then yes, you should be able to find at least a few people you'll get along with at Anthrocon. The guidebook you'll receive when you pick up your badge will list all the fun official things you can do. Aside from that, there are lots of unofficial meetups found on the forums (of this site and others), a thumbtack board where people can ask about/look for specific things, and many other ways to meet people.
Also, I'm surprised/impressed by this influx of younger furs, on the forums or otherwise.
I went last year alone at the age of 15, i had a blast. i went to a couple panels and such to get the feel of the con. But don't do what i did and just idly walk around for the most part XD. interact with people, take pics of suiters ask them questions if they talk in suit. Try to see if any online friends are going and meet up with them, maybe meet someone online who has gone before and meet them there and have them show u around the first day

At risk of sounding like a stuck record, remember that you have to get your parental permission form signed and notarized by a public notary. I'd really hate for your plans to get wrecked because you forgot that!
Most people at AC are VERY easy to talk to.
Unless they are busy right then or have to be somewhere, most will be friendly, offer greetings, advice, and so on.
At my first AC I found it so when I wasn't meeting with people I'd arranged to meet (who, of course, were nice.)
So long as you follow simple courtest (common-sense stuff), you should have no problems with the friendly
AnthroCon'ers.
