Bronycon 2012! With 3 voice actors from MLP! :O
Yes, this new little convention has already attracted major show talent!
Andrea Libman! (Pinky and Fluttershy)
Ashleigh Ball! (Applejack and Rainbow Dash)
Nicole Oliver (Celestia and Cheerilee)
THINK OF THE AUTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITY!!
Since there is a paucity of legit merchandise for autographing, I have decided at last to put a couple of my hoard of SDCC Pony posters up for auction on Ebay.

You can get them in time for Bronycon, where 3 members of the main voice cast will be attending!
I'll make a note here if I decide to list 2 more posters next week, the last listing I'll do before Bronycon.
im going to BroNYcon. :3 ill be meeting a friend there.
i will be wearing a totally blue pony around my neck, with possibly a green one (if i make it in time). dont know what ill be wearing, but the blue pony is coming with me!
Not sure what I'll be wearing. If it's mild weather, I will likely be wearing my either my Twilight Sparkle and Spike Steampunk shirt, or my Doctor Whooves "Trust Me, I'm a Doctor" shirt. If it's cold... that depends if I manage to pick up a Pony hoodie/sweater in time.
I know this is besides the point, so excuse me, but when will the show be released internationally? Sorry.
You can watch all of the episodes on YouTube, they get posted in fairly decent quality within a few hours of the US airing. Here's the first episode to get you started ^_^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZryW1J_wj4
Thank you, but is there no foreign channel picking it up?
I doubt it. The show is on a fairly minor network here as it is.. one we don't get as part of any basic cable package where I live. I have to wait for episodes to get uploaded, too. ^_^
Forgive my breach of protocol...
Hasbro has adopted a less lenient attitude towards YouTube uploads, and the fandom seems confined to Estados Unidos. Should I listen to the Buddha on this one?
"Attachment is the cause of all suffering." It should be a big hit in Japan if TV Asahi or some other chain picks it up, on the other hand.
Almost everyone would brand me a mariquita or a joto down here for liking it.
If you follow the meet-ups section under the Nightly Round-ups (no tag just for the former, but see here for the latest of the latter), you'll see that there are world-wide fans. But I agree there'd be even more if Hasbro would make the eps easily viewed by those outside the USA
Ironically there appears to be better merchandise overseas than here...
I didn't google "joto" once I saw that "mariquita" was the Spanish equivalent of "f--got", but I suspect the overwhelming majority of MLP fans are straight, though this wasn't addressed in this survey.
I believe Hasbro is issuing takedowns for complete episodes only... at least that's the last news on the subject that I heard. People may still have some of them uploaded in parts.
except that as soon as one of them is taken down two more get put back up
I haven't heard of Hasbro taking down episodes. It's basically free advertising for their products.
I think that the problem lies in the way US copyright and trademark laws work. On the one hand, you have protection of your intellectual property. On the other, if you fail to defend your intellectual property, you stand to lose the rights to it. For example, in order to use Anthrocon's name and servicemark, you must license it from us. It's not because we're stingy; it's just that if we let folks use it without a license, we actually lose all rights to it.
Laws is goofy.
This is just one of the many reasons we so desperately need copyright reform.
I thought the same.
If it's not being streamed on Web services, it should already be. Hasbro wouldn't be limited by geographic area. And to drill a running gag into the ground, it could become a success in an island nation where cute things are popular.
There are supposedly international dubs, but I don't know where to find them.
And one of the uploaders left a puzzle- "Twilight Sparkle Lamborghini is the best car." What does it mean?
If there's a third season, I hope they stop using musical numbers written like Top 40 hits, or at least base their songs on much better musicians, like David Bowie, Paul McCartney or Bob Marley.
who wants music based on someone not MLP when they can do their own style? i hope they don't change a thing
"California Girls" isn't the studio's own creation (or even Perry's, because comoposers and lyricists arrange the music for singers like her), and a terrible song in every regard.
And how famous is Mister Marley in the U.S. and Canada?
A. that was a commercial by the station, it doesn't count. B. who?
also, i think Equestria Girls is far better than the original
The Late Mr. Marley is still the best-known Reggae/Ska/Rasta performer in most of the world, including the US and Canada. His songs are still played, his image is iconic (to followers of those genres). I believe that his final concert was performed in Pittsburgh, as it happens.
Perhaps you can make a polite request to ProtoCollie, and ask if he might work a memorial song into one of the dances, as a tribute.
Yes when most Americans thing of Reggae, Bob Marley is usually the first and often only singer that they think of.Certaintly not Reggae fans but I mean a typical on the street person.
Does ProtoCollie use a female persona? Because I though "she" was actually a woman in real life. My bad.
And what could that sentence mean?
The above poster referred to Protocollie as "he" and that's correct.
As to that wierd sentance, you're better off asking the original poster... and you may want to reexamine your assumption that Youtube comments make any kind of sense whatsoever. They tend to not do so.

I already got a poster but i`m on the wrong coast to attend.I only fly back to visit family and combo that with anthrocon. It would be neat to see the voice actress who does AppleJack.Shes my fave pony.
