You should check Pounced as well. I'm pretty sure there's a few furs in the Marylandfurs Yahoo group who are interested in the meets, but don't feel like driving an hour to get here.

Actually, I wanted to let you guys know, my fiance Kit Drago and I are from Maryland as well, and we run the group Central MD furs on FA, which was founded due to a lack of activity on both Baltimore Furs and Maryland Furs on FA. Feel free to come give us a poke; we'd love to have more meets to post about, and are open to suggestions for meets.
Yeah, Marylandfurs on FA is pretty much dead. I'm watching centralmdfurs, and I usually post about my monthly gaming meet on the marylandfurs Yahoo group.
You should drop Irime or Myself a note on them so we can include them in the upcoming events on CMD.
I'm iffy on promoting it in any other fur-oriented groups. It's fur-friendly (and a good number of us are furs), but it's supposed to be focused on the gaming. We've had people show up who just wanted to fursuit, and have everyone stop what they were doing to pay attention/take pictures. It got awkward.
If you guys are interested in promoting it, feel free to add me on FA as MiltoniusPrime, and I'll give you the details. Though I don't use FA very often.
Well, we can promote it if you want and just note that its NOT a specifically fur related / fursuiting event. Its up to you.

Those type of furs are the reason I don't usually bother going to local furmeets.
Hence why's it advertised as a gaming meet, and not a specifically-furry meet. I'll occasionally stop by the monthly meets just to see who's still showing up, but it's tough to relate to anyone "seriously" furry. Sometimes I'll meet someone interested in someone a bit more focused/structured, and if they happen to be a gamer, I point them in the direction of my meet.

I must point out to Uncle Kage that one can't always rely on clicking "MD" to find all Maryland furries here. One need to click on "Maryland" too, and one will get another set of furry nicks.
Also, I notice that the Beltway Furs group on FA is occasionally active (i.e. not totally dead). And, yeah, Central MD Fur group on FA is also occasionally active.
I guess that's all I have to say...oh, and I don't go to meetups...no real point for me anyway.
Just curious, but why is there no point in you meeting other furs? Just not a very social person?
I may be a bit antisocial, but really, I'm deaf, so...I don't bother with meeting other furs, except in certain situations, such as AC, where there would be other deaf furs.
Alright, completely understandable.
Central Maryland is (I hope) more than occaisionally active as we try to schedule at least 1-2 events every month.
