This is probably a very very very stupid question but I figure it's best to ask just in case. Can you pre-reg for the con after reserving your room? I've always pre-reged before reserving a room so I wasn't sure. I'm 99.8% sure you probably can as I'm sure A LOT of people reserve a room and don't pre-reg AT ALL (They must enjoy lines) but like I said, I just want to be sure. I've learned that going with assumptions can, and often will, get you in trouble so better to risk looking stupid by asking such a question.

BTW: My appologies if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't sure if this should go under the Hotel forums or not.

Yes; you may wait to Pre-register until after your hotel room is resevered, UNLESSS you intend on getting a Suite at the Westin; those need process through Anthrocon and you will need to be registered to reserve one of those.

Awesome! Thank you very much. Smiling I was thinking about waiting until sometime at the end of Feb to pre-reg and reserving my room as soon as reservations were available.

Regarding the registration requirement for suites at the Westin, the suites are the quad rooms I assume?

http://www.anthrocon.org/node/7471/general-hotel-reservations-begin-february-2-suites-westin-available-now has more information on the available suites. Suites are big, fancy rooms; those are not the 2 Doubles Bed or King Bed hotel rooms.

Suites cost a fair bit. Generally, the prices for them begin at roughly double the price of a regular room. In my personal opinion, If you're not going to have a Room Party of some sort, you probably don't want to book a suite.

Shush!  Remember, the longer they argue, the less our *our* chocolate they can eat.  Eye-wink
