Tuned into the audition episode of "American Idol" last night cause they were being held at the DLCC.  It was a little odd to watch footage of the center and not see fursuits or red shirts wandering around in the background

Yeah, I can see how that would be odd.  One of the early seasons of Idol was filmed next door to my company's LA (Glendale) office.  I ended up staying in the same hotel as the contestants when I was out there for a conference.  Not that I saw any of them (or would have recognized them if I did...)

Yeah, it's strange.  I watched a few of the clips, and some of the scenes triggered flashbacks of all the things I saw and/or did in those areas while I was at Anthrocon.

On a side note, http://www.americanidol.com/videos/season_11/memorable_auditions/eben_christian_franckewitz/ .  It seems that an Ohio native made the cut.  Smiling

I saw that Pittsburgh American Idol as well...saw J-Lo walking where I was once!  Hehe.  It was strange...I half expected to see a furry with a contestant in a crowd shot, that would have been pawesome, hehe!
