With taxes and fees, figure on adding $20-30 to that, but it's still not a bad deal.

Flights from Orlando to Pittsburgh on AirTran are $99 each way, with nonstops available, day-in, day-out.

During the last fare sale I got my ticket out to Pittsburgh for $89.

We should have people canvass the websites regularly for their deals. Also, I have DING, and have set it to Pittsburgh, so I can alert people for DING rates on Southwest. (You need to download DING to get DING rates though, it's free, you don't need Rapid Rewards membership, and it doesn't put malware on your computer.)

I also highly recommend Kayak, which aggregates fares from all of the major carriers (except Southwest) and major sites like Expedia and Orbitz. I've found some great deals through them.

Very strange! Cheapest I see anywhere is $370 on Northwest. It can be that this is just a bad time to buy.

It's only a 5-hour drive...!

That's vacation time for me and my husband. We already made plans to visit both our families at that time, and unfortunately they can't be changed (trust me--I tried). When the con was in June, that was perfect for me. Oh well, there's always next year.

Southwest is being such a tease.

They have $44-$64 for Tues-Thur, but it's for until June 28.
