Hello everyfur ^_^ I've met quite a few furs online while playing Halo 2. I'm curious as to how many members of the forums here are apart of the Halo 2 online community. Soo, my question is, if you're reading this and you play Halo 2 online, what's your name on it so I can add ya? If you'd like my tag, it's noSc0pEkiTsUnE. I'm not too good at the game, but I'd like to meet more furs over Halo 2 if possible 'cus I like to make friends and just have a general good time while playing Halo 2 with other furs :3 (I hate playing with non-furs. They ask me stupid questions pertaining to my name XD) |

I was certainly not great at it in the days past when I used to play, although I did hold my own most of the time. And someday after I get an Xbox 360 (unfortunately most likely after AC), I'll probably get back on Xbox live. Until then, good luck and good aim

used to play...but after kill 645,591 i got bored and started to play guitar hero 2 and gears of war. it was fun for a long while though(and yes, i counted)

I've played Halo 2 (online multi-player), for the X-box 360.
Though, I haven't been too active on the x-box live community, reasons being that my interest in it dropped dramatically. Sometimes I pop on for kicks, but I usually play single player games more often than anything else. Call of Duty 3, Gears of War, Burnout 4, and my latest new hobby - Guitar Hero 2, are a few other games I might happen to sprout in time-to-time.
My friends list is pretty empty, so I don't mind adding anybody that cares to chat or whatever sparks interest.

permalinkAwesome stuff there. I played Crackdown on my friend's system until I maxed out everything. I NEVER touched any of the bosses, so whenever I want to, I still have the entire game at my disposal.
Once I get my own system, I WILL have Crackdown, and I'll look you up then

Crackdown was that type of game where it'll be enlightening to play, something new to mash buttons at, yet it'll come out as a disappointment at the end, being that the game is too short! Meh...
Oh well... Good luck on getting a X-box 360, Exkhaniber.

And let's see if we can get this topic momentarily revitalized, and see what other furs want to contribute some ID's and get a furry clan going! Or something close to that.

permalinkya that'd be cool, i have a 360 and am on live regularly; usually playing oblivion though. i've been playing halo 2 a lot recently and also have both chromehounds and crackdown, i have a few more multiplayer games as well. i have a couple of gamer tags that i switch between so i'll post both of em. i look forward to meeting as many of u online as possible =^_^=

permalinkI just registered with a squad on Chromehounds yesterday. Dust Kickers! I'm sticking with the group, since they were the only ones willing to take me on as a newb and politely teach me the rules and pearls of wisdom of playing it online. Stuff like placing shields on your face, which was just oh so interesting to actually go and do.
I want to get Oblivion someday soon. That of course will be after seeing how much money the dealer's den at AC DOESN'T drain out of me.

After all, most of what I bought was art, right? Well, unless all those artists drastically increased their stock of pictures I'd want to purchase (read: anything kangaroo or otter related), then there won't be much new stuff for me to buy.
Not to mention 2's booth. I spent $92 there buying one of everything last year. Obviously that's not an investment I need to make again.
I do need more multiplayer games for my 360 though. Any suggestions from the forum readers?

Halo 3 is coming out soon, as many of us know. I've got a copy reserved, and I'm pondering how many of you do as well?
And from what I've seen and read, it's looking good too. It looks like we're finally seeing what Halo 2 was probably supposed to be (and never was probably due to hardware limitations on the original Xbox).
Anyway, I'm psyched. What is everyone else's take on it?

I can't wait. I've got it reserved, and I got in on the Beta. It was really good. The new additions like 4 player co-op and the man cannon will make the game much more exciting.

permalinkI got Crackdown and access to the Halo 3 beta...but I never used it. Frankly, Halo 2 (as a game, not the storyline itself) was such a letdown that I wasn't even considering getting Halo 3 until some previews and updates came out that basically amounted to "We're sorry, we'll get it right this time".
Oddly I seem to be at odds with most of the world when it came to Halo 2. Everywhere I go people hated the story but loved how the game played and felt. I loved the story and felt the game was done half-arsed and itself felt like a beta.

yes its trekish to an extreme but Shatner is the best, he never gets shot with a phaser so i thought some of his luck would rub off... And it dose!

I even went into a clan that was sponserd by EB games My specialty was everything except snipers jeese I miss that game so much when I moved my parents wont't let me get it back up and running tho my gamertag I think was *Papasmuff1212*
and was a 34 in BTB I dont think they rank BTB anymore but you can check the name in such on Bungie.

permalinkSpecialty was everything *except* snipers? How could that be? Halo has the most simplistic and overly powerful sniping system of any game I've played. When I played online, that is all most people knew how to do. With excessively quick reloading bordering on full auto, extreme damage, pinpoint accuracy, no shake, powerful zoom, and way more than enough ammo, it was without a doubt the weakest point of the multiplayer part of both games 1 and 2.
