I am still working on my prose for the conbook for AC, I wanted to know when the deadline for submissions is. I thought I had seen it somewhere, I am unable to locate it at present. Any information here would be greatly apprecriated. All the best, Rukario YIM: Rukario71 or Rukario |

Um, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the deadline is today, April 30th.
For future reference, that info is at http://www.anthrocon.org/conbook, or by clicking on the "Conbook" link in the menu to the left.

permalinkGood Afternoon Giza:
Thank-you for the information.
A few questions for you though...
1. May I submit poetry that is appropriate to the theme of Anthrocon?
2. May I submit my finished product electronically, or is mailing the only way to do it?
3. May I purchase a copy of the Conbook at AC?
Thanks again for your assistance here.
All the best,
Rukario

1. I don't know. I'm just the guy who runs the server.
I don't see it mentioned on the Conbook page, so you'd have to email book.2007 (AT) anthrocon.org and ask.
2. Yes. Look for the section on our conbook page titled "Submitting Via FTP".
3. A copy of the conbook is included with your membership.

Yes.
Electronic submissions are preferred.
You will get one in your con bag at registration. I believe extra copies will be available for purchase at the con store. Also note, all contributors to the Anthrocon conbook will have a copy mailed to them post-con.

Technically, 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, so there are a few hours left. We usually get a whole pile of submissions on the last day or so before the deadline, so I'll be checking the FTP site later tonight for any last-minute submissions we receive.
