Did you lose something at Anthrocon? We may have found it!
Did you get home, only to find that your favorite stuffed elephant didn't make it into your luggage?
Our lost and found box is crammed full of treasured items. It's been two weeks now since the convention and there's still a lot of things that have not been claimed. I'm attaching a picture of some of those items. It's not comprehensive, so if you are missing something and do not see it in this collection, inquire anyway. Someone else may have found it and is waiting to hear from you.
TO CLAIM AN ITEM:
Send an email to ceo(at)anthrocon.org with LOST AND FOUND very prominently in the subject line. Include a description of the item, and the (real) name and address to which it should be sent. Please do not use a pseudonym; the Post Office may not recognize it at your address and may simply return the item to us. Do not worry about postage; Anthrocon considers the return of lost property to be another service that we offer to our members.
Note that badges will be sent back flat. We will not be able to include badge clips or holders with them.
You can click on the image below for a larger version.
We also have jewelry, eyeglasses, sunglasses, portable radios and telephones, books, artwork, art supplies, con store and dealer room purchases (still in their bags). Just let us know what we are missing and if we have it, we will let you know. Note that we may not be able to respond to all inquiries -- we get quite a lot of them. If you do not hear from us, rest assured that we have gotten your note. It means that we haven't found it yet, but traditionally we still have people sending things to us for months with a note saying, "I found this in the Zoo and was going to drop it off but forgot," so do not give up hope.
DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK WITH THE WESTIN, THE CONVENTION CENTER AND THE OTHER HOTELS! If something was turned in to them, we would not have gotten it, so make sure to ask around.
My roommate, Anthrocoon had a "Certified Racoon" badge like the one in this picture. Not sure if it's his, though.

OMG! MY GIR BADGE!
I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT! I just recently was talking to some of my other furry friends who went to AC with me this year and they told me it might have been picked up by you guys and put into the lost and found! AND HERE IT IS!

If im correct, I dont think you guys dont search the hotels for missing stuff. Sadly I lost A pair of sunglasses
No, you are wrong. We do not do any searches for lost items. We can only collect what is turned in to us and try to find the rightful owner. Now, having said that, I have an entire box of sunglasses. Is there any way you can be more specific about the pair you lost? If so, please email (email, email) me with as good a description as you can muster. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Whoa - strangest thing, but for some reason my ears just started to tingle.

I lost my "Beware of the Wolf" badge... My buddy Logan and Joey bought it for me and it fell off the bottom of my badge..
