Anthrocon registration to open soon (Dealers, take note)!
We are putting our 2013 registration system through its final paces and are hoping to begin taking registrations for this year's convention starting next week (Week of October 15). You can visit our registration page now to see what this year's prices will be and to get an idea of some of the benefits we have added for our precious sponsors and supersponsors. Also new for this year: dealers will register using the standard online registration system, and then will be directed to a new page to reserve their dealer tables. It's all part of our ongoing efforts to streamline the registration process. More information can be found at our Dealer Info Page.
.w. oh no... I have to find someone who has a driver's license.-w- And quick!
Actually you will need to be the one with a driver's license (or some other form of acceptable ID) which you will need when you pick up your badge.
I have my passport.w.! I can't obtain a driver's license anyway. too young.-w-;
A Passport is a wonderfully acceptable form of Photo ID. Driver's licenses, State ID, and military ID are the other acceptable single-form Photo IDs Anthrocon accepts.
Also, an image of oneself is acceptable if carved on a piece of bone. Just make sure your name is written on it! Otherwise, that would just be silly.
Mmooo.
Is there a specific time that the switch will be thrown for registration, like there was a specific time for starting hotel reservations?
No, we haven't come up with a time yet. We want to make sure that everything is working right before we throw the switch. An announcement will be made here when we're ready to go (and if history is any indication, it will be all over Twitter before I am finished composing the post).
We're grinding as quickly as we can, but also as efficiently as possible. Your patience is greatly appreciated!
We want to make this process as smooth for you all as possible.
You guys are making me jealous XD. i need to wait like another 3 years until i'm going
I may have to wait two more years rather than go to AC 13...
Supersponsor Membership = An advance opportunity to register for a hotel room before general availability!
WOOOOOOT!!!
I was at last year's Supersponsor luncheon when you announced that you were kicking around ideas for that perk. (And there was much rejoicing!) *yaaaaay*
But I kinda figured that you would do something like create a new membership level. Say, Superdupersupersponsor? Personally, I would have paid another $100 for that privilege alone.
Funny thing is that I always try to get a room in the Westin not for me, but for my roomie of three years. I would be (almost) as happy in any of the overflow hotels. But my friend wants to be at the Westin. And so far, I have delivered.
I'll get the check in the mail ASAP when registration opens!

Yeah, that'll definitely be nice - though I'm unsure whether or not that will translate into a guaranteed low floor.
I've never had a problem getting a reservation at the Westin though.
I'm right there with you on one thing - I'm eagerly awaiting AC's eventual $1k megasponsor level!
You could always just give us a thousand dollars, if you really wanted.
Yeah, that'll definitely be nice - though I'm unsure whether or not that will translate into a guaranteed low floor.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But at check-in, I think that rooms are first come first served. And it also depends on how soon they can get the rooms cleaned and readied from the previous night's occupants. And I rather doubt that they clean and fill the hotel from the top to the bottom. AC doesn't even have fursuit floors anymore. Since, with the number of suiters we now have, that would mean making most of the Westin a fursuit floor! (Which would kinda defeat the purpose of having fursuit floors!) Now I am sure that the hotel is required to try to make exceptions for the physically disabled. But other than that, your best chance of getting a low floor room is probably to arrive early.
Me? I'm jazzed because this means that my chances of getting a room with two beds just increased! The last two years, I was only able to score a single. Which meant dragging the air-mattress out to the con. (Although me and my roomie are very good friends, we aren't that kind of good friends! *wink wink nudge nudge*)
Personally, I don't care which floor I am on. Since I think nothing of climbing 20 floors if the elevator lines are more than a couple of minutes long! (In fact, I enjoy the view from a high floor!)

I am doing multiple registrations for our group. All diffrent names if course but plan on using the same e-mail for the lot. Is this ok ?
That will be fine. There will clearly marked sections for membership information and payment information with each registration. We generally prefer the email field for each attendee to be their personal email, but you may indeed register multiple individuals to the same email.

Woot!!! I cant wait to Regsister for AC!! it will be my first time going!! i just need my friend to do it through the internet for mee hahaha -rambles- annyyywayyss im exited already!! =D
