Here's where on the map

It's literally next to the hotel. The hotel is that triangle looking thing. The train station is where the train station icon is.

The hotel is on 10th street, while the train station is literally right behind it, on 11th street. Hope that helps.

I took the train last year, and it was about...2 blocks from the hotel, once we got our bearings..didnt take long to get there at all. Its like...around a corner and boom!

Truly.
Once exiting the only exit from the station that I could find (follow the crowd of people leaving), simply go forwards. You'll cross the street and go left and forwards. Turn that corner, and you've got the convention center. Continue left and forward to reach the front of the hotel, IIRC. It would have taken longer to find a taxi than to enter the lobby.

Really. Once leaving the train station, you could close your eyes and just keep walking forward, and you are guaranteed to run right into the hotel.

I do not recommend this, though.

It isn't a question of "maybe"--there's only one train a day from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh (The Pennsylvanian). Once you're on, it's only a matter of which car the Anthrocon-goers are on.

Actually, it matters what DAY you travel. Travel Wed and the Thu travelers will miss you, and vice versa. Travel back Sun and the Mon travelers will miss you, and vice versa.
