A number of people have inquired about the traditional art-show panel loading. We are going to be doing things a little differently this year. We will not need help to load the art show panels into the truck. We will, however, need help early in the morning on July 4 to load the rest of Anthrocon's equipment in Malvern, PA (Eastern Chester County)into the truck. That task begins promptly at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, July 4. The truck leaves at 8:00 AM, or sooner if the loading is finished early.

If you're coming by that way during that time and can help out, we are more than happy to help. If you have your own transportation you can join the convoy heading west when the truck departs, and if you help load the truck up, we'll buy breakfast for you along the way.

Likewise, on the morning of July 10 (Tuesday), at 9:00 AM, the truck gets unloaded again (this might get pushed back to Monday night, depending on timing and availability of volunteers). Lunch is included after that little task.

Write to ceo(at)anthrocon.org if you are available and can commit to joining us at any of the times above. Please do not contact us if you only "might" be able to make it. That got us into a lot of trouble last year, and is why we're doing the art show panels differently this time around.

Well, I can't help you guys out on the first loadup on the 4th, cause I'm leaving a day earlier with my pack mates. But I'm more than happy to help out with the unloading on the 10th. I'll be home, and I only live a skip away from ya. So yes, definately count me in for the unloading of the truck. I'm a big woofie with a strong back, I can have that thing empty in no time.

Can't do it on the 4th--i'll be in wisconsin.

On the 9th, i've already been keeping an expectation that i would try to come and help y'all in the back of my head. Moving that work to the evening of the 9th or the morning of the 10th isn't a problem for me. Either way, i'll have had a day or two to recover some of my sleep, and i ned only put in for the time off work and for a sub on a task or two. My helping out on the 10th (or the 9th) has only one little caveat--i don't know how to drive.

Is the storage space far from the malvern train station? I could take a train out there, then walk the rest of the way; anything within about an hour falls inside my walkable range. If not, there might be a bus passing close by.

If i think i can get there, then i think i can commit. *smiles*

The location in Malvern where things will be offloaded on the 10th is 1/2 mile from the Malvern rail station.

Sounds totally doable. Count me in.

I'll go ahead and send you an email, just in case you need mine, and try to check in closer to time for directions.

Merci!

The 4th is doable and I'll have someone else riding with me who can help as well. Smiling

The 10th isn't possible, unfortunately. I'll need to be back to work. :/

I'll be able to come help on the fourth, but probably not the tenth.
