Anthrocon 2008's featured performers

Don't miss Anthrocon 2008's featured performers!
Making a welcome return to Anthrocon is TOM SMITH. The only recording artist to appear on both NPR's Sound and Spirit and The Dr. Demento Show, Tom combines high-energy folk rock, SF/fantasy, popular culture, progressive politics, cartoon voices, unbelievably bad puns, and the occasional recipe into a musical show you will never forget. Watch for Tom on stage on Thursday evening, June 26.

Please welcome for the first time to Anthrocon ALEXANDER JAMES ADAMS, heir to Heather Alexander’s music and magic, recently unleashed from the land of Fae. Alec is a fiery Celtic fiddler with a compelling voice that is guaranteed to enchant audiences of all ages. With songs and stories of the otherworld (and for us, the Furry regions), Alec inspires his audiences to make their dreams come true and to look for the wonders within. You can see him live on Thursday night, June 26.

Furry Fandom's home-grown professional comic, '2' the Ranting Gryphon has been a fixture of most Furry conventions for years. His voice has been heard throughout the world through his signature rants and through his wildly popular 2 Sense internet radio program. '2' will be performing at Anthrocon on Saturday night, June 28. Warning: not for children or for those with sensitive dispositions!

Uncle Kage's Story Hour began as an old dotard babbling away in a hotel lobby in 1994, and has since grown into the gala spectacle of an old dotard babbling away before crowds of two thousand or more. With new stories revealed at Anthrocon every year, Uncle Kage is sure to hold your attention as he relates the tales of his various misadventures. Watch for him on Friday night, June 27.
