Dealers Room

(Shipping to the DLCC is for dealers only. All others should ship to the Westin)

With the current trend among airlines for charging higher and higher fees for baggage, you may find it advantageous to ship items to the Westin or, if you are a dealer, directly to the Convention Center. Be advised, however, that there are charges at both locations to receive and handle any boxes, and that there are very specific (and very different) rules to follow for each location. Anthrocon has helped to arrange these services and done its best to negotiate reasonable rates and rules, but that is as far as we go. We take no responsibility for misdirected shipments, neither does any location offer any guarantees. It is strongly, strongly recommended that you choose a carrier that offers tracking services such as DHL, UPS, Fedex, and the like.

The table below lists the dealers who are confirmed fo far for the 2010 convention. Note that the table locations are denoted by a letter followed by a number. This represents the row (A through G) and the table number in that row (1 through 23).

From Pittsburgh International Airport
PA -60 S to US-30 E becomes I-279 N through the Ft. Pitt Tunnels and across the Ft. Pitt Bridge. Take Exit 6C Ft. Duquesne Blvd. Follow sign to Convention/Strip District on 10th Street Bypass. At 1st traffic light, turn right into the Convention Center Loading Dock Entrance.

From East/PA Turnpike
I-76 W (PA Turnpike) to Exit 57 Pittsburgh. Take I-376 W to Exit 2B Blvd. of the Allies. Take I-579 N to Seventh Ave/Convention Center Exit. Take Seventh Ave. Turn right onto William Penn Way. William Penn Way becomes 10th St. go straight under the Convention Center. At the corner of 10th & Ft. Duquesne Blvd., turn left onto Ft. Duquesne. Next light, turn left into the Convention Center Loading Dock Entrance.

• I am with a group of three other dealers and we always like to sit together in a group. Won't this sytem make that impossible to arrange since all of our applications will arrive at different times?
• If the room is sold out, can I just share a table with someone else?
• Can I just sell things out of my room?
• I notice that you have some dealers who have multiple tables, while there are other dealers who have none. Isn't that unfair?
• Will you have a wireless internet server in the dealer room?
• I want to ship some of my wares to the hotel. Do they charge to receive boxes?
• I read that we have to pay union Teamsters to carry our things in and out of the Dealers' Room. Is that true?

Anthrocon 2010 will be held in Hall B of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Once more we are offering our dealers with the most spacious Dealers' Room of any Anthropomorphics convention. Our tables are a full eight feet in length, with an aisle aisle width of fifteen feet and plenty of space behind each table.
