Pittsburgh International Airport, code PIT. You can visit their website to learn more about the airport. That site has a very useful feature that keeps track of cheap airfares to and from Pittsburgh as they come up. That depends on where you are coming from and upon what airline. Pittsburgh is, on the average, comparable in fares to Philadelphia. |

Anthrocon strongly recommends that you plan your trip carefully using a paper map, or any of the online mapping programs such as Google Maps. I-376 is a major artery through Pittsburgh, so allow extra time for traffic delays at rush hour.

Anthrocon members who live in the Northeast Corridor and the upper Midwest may wish to consider taking a train to Anthrocon. It is more convenient than driving, and usually costs less than air fare. Amtrak offers rail service to the Pittsburgh Rail Station, which is right across the street from the Westin Hotel, at 1100 Liberty Ave. |

Greyhound operates a bus terminal that is directly across the street from the hotel. This is the area that has been under construction for the past few years, and is now finally open. |
