Travel By Airplane

  • Which airport should I fly in to?
  • The nearest airport is Pittsburgh International Airport, airport code PIT.

  • How can I get a cheap fare?
  • Pittsburgh airport's website has a very useful feature to keep track of cheap airfares to Pittsburgh as they come up. We also recommend The Farecast service, which keeps track of historic ticket prices and pricing trends.

  • Driving From Pittsburgh International Airport:
  • From the airport, get onto PA route 60 SOUTH. After about 2.5 miles the road name changes to US route 30. Follow US 30 East for about 3.8 miles, when it changes again to I-279 N. Follow that about 6.3 miles, through the Ft. Pitt Tunnels and across the Ft. Pitt Bridge. Take Exit 6C, for Ft. Duquesne Blvd. Follow sign to Convention Ctr./Strip District on the 10th Street Bypass. The Convention Center on right, and is the size of a city block. It will be hard to miss.

  • Is there a shuttle from the airport to the hotel?
  • The following options are available. NOTE!!! Prices are subject to change. We cannot stay on top of every single price change associated with travel to Pittsburgh, so we strongly advice you to use the prices below as guidelines only and to double-check with the carrier directly before you leave.
