I have my undergraduate degree in engineering stuff with wires, chips, and computers. I have a masters in making computers talk to each other. I'm working on a PhD in doing computer-y stuff.

I play Neopets - I probably have more merch than you do. I play D&D 3rd/3.5 editions primarily. I play other tabletop RPGs - Paranoia, GURPS, L5R, etc. I play Rock Band when I can, but other obligations are making this harder.

I do a lot of code, HTML/CSS, XML, Javascript/ActionScript, PHP/MySQL, C/C++ - broad definition of code, true. If you want to get up in my face about code then "I've written a non-trivial transport layer protocol in the Gentoo kernel for private research" should assure you I'm proficient in 'real' coding.

I like canines, particularly jackals. I am not a cat person. I am sarcastic but this doesn't mean I don't like you.

If you contact me off-site, telling me who you are on site and introducing yourself is preferable. I get a lot of a spam. Even my phone (which is not something I'm giving out) gets spam - I guess I'm just a spam magnet. Also, I'm almost always "online" whether I'm around or not.
