Anthrocon 2026 - It's almost here!
Just like how the cold suddenly vanished and the hot, muggy burst through our doors, Anthrocon is right around the corner! As we count the final days down and get everything packed, printed and ready, we want you to be as well!
Registration
Online pre-registration will end after June 26. After that, your only option will be to purchase registration at the door, and will be limited to only standard Attending-level weekend memberships (while supplies last) and day passes from Friday to Sunday. Thursday is reserved for pre-registered weekend attendees only. Check out our Registration page’s “How to Register” section.
If you’re unable to join us this year, the deadline for requesting a refund and/or deferral to next year is also June 26. Find out more about our refund or rollover policy and process on our Refunds Policy page.
Hotel Accommodations and Transportation
For attendees that have booked through our official housing partner (Orchid Events) via the portal on our registration system, all reservation data will be transferred over to the respective hotel. They will upload the reservation data into their system, at which point you may get another confirmation email from the hotel. At that point, any further changes to your reservation must be handled directly with the hotel.
Beware of fake hotel offers: If anyone else tells you they have “official” hotel rooms, they are likely attempting to scam you. Anthrocon-rate rooms for 2026 are no longer available to be booked at this point.
Our transportation for attendees between the convention center and partnered hotels is being brought back and increased this year with the help of Gray Hare Express cart services, which will be offering complimentary rides to and from hotels and Anthrocon. You’ll be able to find their carts which will have distinctive signs for their service.
Events
Our Events page will be updated with the official event schedule link, but you can also find the schedule by visiting anthrocon.org/schedule (Hosted on the Venvi app). There are some changes and additions still being made, and the event schedule will be locked in by June 26.
We’ve also got a new gaming page for all fans of video gaming, indie gaming, and tabletop RPG gaming with friends over in the Westin hotel! You can also learn more about details regarding our partnership with Mega Cat studios on our new Gaming page.
Fursuit Dance Competition and Floor Wars: If you’re an interested competitor waiting for their moment to shine on the brightest (and spookiest) stage in the fandom, don’t miss these opportunities. Read more about the rules, process and applications on our Fursuit Dance Competition page and our Floor Wars page!
Dealers and Artists Alley
The Dealers List and Map are now available to view! Get your wallets ready for over 400 vendors that will be showing off their wares, hoping that you’ll take them home with you. Find out which Dealers will be present on our Dealers List and Map 2026!
Artists Alley lottery results will be announced and shared out to all applicants; make sure you continue to check your email for updates and information, or contact [email protected] for any questions.
River Cruises
Though we know your schedule will be busy, don’t miss out on our River Cruises if you’ve never been on one! Whether you’re looking for awesome photo opportunities or want to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the river, these cruises are a hot attraction for Anthrocon attendees. You can find available tickets by going onto our Registration system and viewing the “Event Store”. For other details, visit the River Cruises page.
Charity
For Anthrocon 2026, our new Charity friends from J and J Animal Farms Sanctuary from western Pennsylvania are bringing a quirky, lovable crew of farm friends to the city. From plenty of charitable opportunities at their booth in our Dealers Room to a whole PETTING ZOO that will join us at the Block Party, find out more about how you can support them on our Charity page.
Staff and volunteer opportunities
If you have a few spare hours at the convention and like giving back to the community, while also getting some great experience and building connections, volunteering could be a great fit for you. If you’re willing to contribute your time before or at the convention, let us know by completing the Volunteering section in our Registration system (you must create an account first), or by dropping by our Operations office in Room 309 of the convention center!
Stay up to date with latest announcements
