One of my favorite parts of Anthrocon was when Uncle Kage and 2 Griffin participated in Telephone's Tea Party... of course Uncle Kage wasn't as enthusiastic about it as 2 was. Laugh

My favorite moment? Being in costume for the first time and seeing a pair of toddlers grinning at the antics of the silly kitty with the camera.

This DOES seem to have been one of the better Anthrocons. The only dull moments I had were when I was waiting for stuff. Last year was slightly duller.

Think mine was the panel, "A Novel Idea," with Kyell Gold and M.C.A. Hogarth. Informative, funny, and REALLY gave me some good ideas.

As soon as Flinch was declared 2nd in the dance comp and I just knew Tayerr had won. Been in the fandom for a long as hell time but that suiter inspired me to become more involved. So for my most recent and impactful source of inspiration to be going to AC for the first time, during my first furry convention, and wrecking the dance competition. It was just a joyful moment. And to "Tayerr" congrats and long live the king.

My favourite moment was late Sunday night at the dead dog pub sing in the Westin 2nd floor lobby, when this happened:

Whose Lion Is It Anyway! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard.

And Uncle Kage was great as well. "We're going to Cancun, again!"  laughing hard

The Macro/Micro meet n greet was a lot of fun.  Too many other great moments to mention them all.  This was my first furry convention and I had a blast!

Favorite moment was Saturday night at "Are you a werewolf".

We had a big game then it died down some and it became a very happy enviroment! I brought in a pizza, we were all sharing it, and had a very close game of AYAW.

Ah heck, there were a ton of good times!!!

The between-game chillout was pretty nice.  Haven't just chatted people up like that at a con in years.  That group had just the right chemistry.

First time going to AC and really hard to pick a singularly favorite moment as there were too many great moments!

The dance competition finals. Everyone did fantastically and the production quality was really high - I sincerely hope that the AC staff post the live stream on YouTube or another similar service as the footage was just amazing. It was really hard to pick between Tayerr and Flinch on the text vote but congratulations to Tayerr! Personal opinion is that Flinch had the technical merit and was just amazing with his isolation and control but Tayerr's overall showmanship was what got my vote. You all are amazing, I don't envy the judges one bit.

So many great fursuiters and character performers! The final number of attendees was over 5800 and the number of fursuiters was over 1300; that's essentially one in four!! That is incredible.

But I think that the most profound moment for me was during closing ceremonies - when the board's charity director was rolling through the numbers and it sounded like we weren't going to hit last year's levels... then people just started running up and throwing money on stage! It started slowly from every angle and then there was a line! A line of people giving their money to charity. The generosity of this fandom is singular (one of a kind) and truly awe inspiring! Never change that!

There were so many great moments at Anthrocon this year it's hard to choose just one. I was at TenPenny (across the street from the Westin) with Uncle Kage when a pedalcar loaded with fursuiters went rolling by:

When the folks in TenPenny saw this everyone started cheering and clapping. Pittsburgh really does love us!

:U My favorite moments were throwing our Fatigue Plushes at people (only when they were ready to catch them of course). Getting to shake hands with fellow furs and content creators. :U Oh and that really good Mediteranean resteraunt: Alihan's Mediterranean Cuisine! Actually, the food is one of the things I always remember fondly at AC.

Favorite moments?  Too many to list.  But I do have a favorite quote.

Monday morning.  Riding down on an elevator.  Shuttling all my stuff back down to the car.

Someone on the elevator grumbles to himself:  "What planet are we on?"

I respond:  "I think it's the one with all those bald, bipedal, apes."

He (or someone else) says:  "The one with all the republicans and democrats?  Eww...  I hate that planet!"

Obviously, none of us wanted to return to the real world. Sad

I'm pretty sure I have 3 different versions of you on my 3DS now! You are multiplying like the Nintendo equivalent of Agent Smith gradually taking over Streetpass Miis. Nice job with the video games! I played way too much Mario Kart 8 this year. Friday night was particularly great!

Back to the main topic, my highlight would have been Mineau the Dolphin's Basic Fursuit Construction panel. That was the most informative panel on that subject I've ever been to. I liked all the progress images, samples, and wisdom shared. It was a lot different from the typical Q&A sessions I've been to in the past.

I would stop and casually ask people if they had gotten any of the Milts yet, and take the time to clear my streetpass queue to make sure that they got it.  And I'm glad you enjoyed the room, we'll make it even better next year.

Favorite moments: 2's rant (especially the Book of Genesis: Furry Edition XD)

Dance competition finals, liked when JD asked a random audience member how their AC experience is. The exchange went something like:

Girl: This is my first Anthrocon! It's been so awesome, I can't even--

JD: --she can't EVEN!

Fursuit Parade (speaking of, who was that spunky tan husky/wolf who kept on shouting "HI!" to EVERYONE watching the parade? XD

Liked the GoH panels, though missed out on Jim Cummings's Q+A due to him not showing up :/

Also thought it was awesome that at closing ceremonies, a couple furs walked up to the stage with donations, followoed by a whole group...and ultimately beating last year's charity total :3

I can't think of just one favorite moment. This was my first con in the fandom. Prior to the con I didn't even consider myself in the fandom. I attended with my best friend and figured I'd have a good time, but didn't consider myself as furry. Anthrocon far exceeded any expectations I had and made me a furry. I'm already looking forward to next year and am having a fursuit made. Thanks to all the staff and attendees for making it a wonderful experience for me.

My favourite moment is when people actually showed up for our panel on Sunday. You guys were awesome!

Also, when the con is over, it's bittersweet for me. It felt like it went by so quickly, but when it's all over, us staff can finally relax.

Let me name a few.

First off... Getting to suit for the very first time. I nearly died in that suit and spent half of my time in the headless lounge panting, but it was all worth it. I got to cheer some people up and surprise friends and play with kids. Which leads to my second favorite moment.

Getting a hug from Kage in-suit! I was waiting on the seventh floor for the elevator to get down so I could get in the fursuit parade line. After like ten minutes, an elevator opened up with hardly any space. Fursuit-clad head hanging low, I expected to get shooed away. But Kage held up a hand, smiled, and said 'Room for one more!' My handler gave me the go-ahead and Kage gave me a big tight hug, and called my suit cute and fluffy. Call me a dork, but getting such a thing made my whole weekend better.

Getting to do an interview with Arthur Drooker. I got to speak about the fandom that has changed my life and made me who I am today, and I got the chance to be one of the well-spoken, respectable furries that make up this community, the ones that often get hidden behind those that make better tv.

Meeting all of my friends. Some I'd seen before, others not, one who is more than a friend, I got to spend a week with. It was all so much fun and it truly did make my 22nd birthday one worth remembering. (For something other than the fireworks. xD)

Having the chance to participate in the events that always made cons better for me, like the fursuit games and parade. No matter what con, those events always seem to be some of the most lively, and this year I got to participate. Even if my team got second place, I still felt like I won there. I got to cheer up the...ten or so people who were there, and hopefully delivered some laughs.

The "Dead Dog Pub Sing" as Cosmik called it. I'd been awaiting that impromptu event since last year, and it did not disappoint. Although I didn't have the courage to thank him and Rhubarb for putting on such a fantastic concert when I met them in person, it very much helped me. At a time in the convention where spirits are sinking and you're having to say your goodbyes, it gives you a chance to get up on your feet and sing along, staving off tears for a few hours longer.

The whole con, really. I may not make it next year due to a big move across the country, but I'll think about it the whole time long, and eagerly await videos of it. Anthrocon back in 2012 was my first time accepting I was a furry, and it's become my home con, the one where I feel most like I'm in a place I belong. It's in my heart every time I think about the man I call the love of my life, or my best friends. Because without Anthrocon, I never would have really given the furry fandom a chance, and I never would have met such wonderful people.

There are always so many amazing and wonderful experiences at Anthrocon, it's hard to pick just one. I was really blessed with some amazing roomies this year, one very kind and beautiful woman especially whom I spent many hours conversing with stood out the most. The fursuiters were of course a blast to see and interact with, and although I am disappointed to say I met my first rude suitor in three years, I didn't let it sour my image or joy of the art (although it made me a little hug-shy for a bit). All of the panels I attended were good, the Dragon Meet and Greet was especially enlightening.

The Masquerade was fun, Uncle Kage's Story Hour was hilarious, and the Art Show was top notch. The varied and skilled artists at the Dealer's Den were there as always working hard to make me broke Laugh , and they always succeed.

All in all it was another memorable year, and I just wanted to thank everyone, from the Staff, Dorsai, and volunteers, to the suitors and the attendees, for making Anthrocon the magical and uplifting experience that it is every year. THANK YOU ALL ^,.=.,^

Aww, meeting you was one of my favorite moments of the con, too! {*^v^*}  They said you don't come away from an AC without making at least one good friend and it was all true. So, thank you for making my first AC very memorable!  :huggle:  (And next year, maybe I won't get a migraine in the middle of all the good panels!)
