Joe & Pie, which is a door or two down from where Hanlon's was, serves breakfast. They also have a cafe with a barista, so you can get pretty decent coffee. There's also Pamela's Diner and Kelly O's Diner in the Strip, McDonald's if that'll do you, Bruegger's Bagels and Dunkin Donuts if you're up for a walk, and Penn City Grille in the Westin if you're willing to pay a bit.

Good to know.

Has anyone advised JOE AND PIE that the furry fans will eat their breakfast foods down to the wallpaper?

They were open during Anthrocon last year. They know what to expect.

Any close to the Westin or is that little shop downstairs still going to be open?  I have not been to AC since 2014.

Unfortunately, the Brown Bag Deli closed a couple years ago.

So is there no cheap breakfast spot in the Westin anymore?  Like I just want a place to get a begel.

Crazy Mocha was still in the Westin last year and they have bagles and muffins.  It's not a huge selection, though.   There's also the Starbucks.

There is Jimmy John's as soon as you leave Westin and go right. I have ate there last year half awake from the bus trip, no complaints about the food if you need a quick bite but apparently the brand itself has raised many concerns. Still option and probably the closest one if you're staying at the Westin.

What's a good place to get cheddar bagels with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and honey mustard?

If you want bagels, there's a brueggers's attached to the Omni.  Awesome bagels, tons of spreads, and sandwiches and all too.

We walked to Au Bon Pain on 7th Ave for breakfast last year. It's a chain cafe, but I like their food. They also had a welcoming message written in chalk on the sidewalk and were giving out free pawprint cookies to furries, so that's a bonus in my book. I like to support places that support us. Smiling

Here's one more vote for Joe & Pie.  I 'discovered' it last year and was pleasantly surprised.  I liked it so much, I ate breakfast and dinner there every day.  The food was great, the prices are good, the service was excellent, and there were no long waiting times.

Though... now that they're getting more attention, I may have to get there a little earlier.  Still, Joe & Pie gets high recommendation from me.

Personally I recommend Cafe Raymond, it's next to DeLuca's out on The Strip. I got french toast there last year, was under $10 for a massive plate with fruit and such, was the best I've ever had. If I remember correctly it was on hallah bread from Mancini's a few shops over so it's really fresh. Can't wait to go back this year!
