I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be going to Anthrocon 2018... but I do have a question that I've searched for the answer to for a while and can't find them so sorry if this topic has already been posted. So how much is it to GO to Anthrocon? I read all of their rules and stuff like that.. I'm under 18 and I've seen all that blah blah blah.. but I'm not going to be staying AT the convention overnight. All of the topics I've seen were about "how much is it to have a room at Anthrocon" and stuff like that but I've wanted to know if just plain GOING to the convention is free. Is it? It's probably not but I haven't seen anything on it?

One day registrations are available at the door for (I think) $30.  If you are only attending for one day, the best choice will be Saturday.

That will get you into the convention, but anything else like food or artwork or anything in the dealers room will cost extra.

To avoid problems with parents, read this before you talk to them about furry:  http://www.anthrocon.org/node/25587/age-questions-how-talk-parents-general-other-things

A LOT of registration information is there. "Registration" is how you get in, you register for a "membership".
The prices, locations, and procedures are all detailed there.

The FAQ that BlackJack linked to doesn't mention actual prices.  And if you click on "Registration" at the top of your screen it only reads:

REGISTRATION FOR OUR 2018 CONVENTION WILL BEGIN IN THE FALL OF 2017

Check back as Summer 2017 winds down for more information!

But a quick google search later, and I found this:

https://www.anthrocon.org/files/anthrocon/registration-form-2017.pdf

The registration form for last year.  Which not only has prices, but also has detailed descriptions of the perks that the three levels of sponsorship (Attending, Sponsor, and Supersponsor) receive.

Note that the prices are from last year and may change for AC 2018.  (But probably not by much.)

Thank you, everyfur who attended Highwing's, Skarlath's, and my Zootopia panel!
Will we do it yet again, next year?
As I said last year: "Only time will tell..."

I don't know if they're CURRENT prices, but the prices are actual.

"Can I register at the door?
Of course! Registration On-site for all membership levels is available, beginning at $60 for Attending-level memberships and $30 for Day Passes."

In addition to the registration fee, you should also count on food(roughly 20 dollars a day), a bit of emergency cash(20 under the sole of your shoe, for example), whatever your transportation will cost, and any money for things you want to purchase if you are so inclined.
