We are pleased to announce that the Programming Schedule for Anthrocon 2014 has been finalized!

We will provide you with copies of this information in a handy pocket-sized booklet when you register and/or pick up your badge at the convention; however, we like to provide this information to you in advance so that you can see what events are being offered and that you may begin planning your own convention itinerary.

Be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to availability of panelists and other circumstances outside of our control. Remember, "The best laid plans of mice and men only prove that the men should have left the planning to the mice," or something like that. We are working on preparing big poster-sized versions of the schedule that we will post at strategic locations around the convention and which we will keep updated with any last-minute changes. You may also refer to the monitors at the Westin for any changes, news, or updates as they are received. Important updates will also be posted on our Twitter Feed (@Anthrocon).

Downloading the Schedule

We are pleased to offer the schedule online both via Scribd and a direct download:

Mobile Devices

We are pleased to announce that the Anthrocon 2014 Schedule is now available in MyConbook. Point your mobile device to http://m.anthrocon.org/ for a copy of the schedule.

Did You Spot An Error?

Are you running an event that is not listed correctly? Please let us know so that we can send out corrections over social media at the convention itself. Our contact information can be found here.

The Jim Cummings autograph description lists Lee Tockar instead of Jim Cummings.

Yeah, sorry about that.  We caught that on our end too... just a little too late.  But I can assure you that Mr. Cummings will be present at the Jim Cummings Autograph Session. Smiling

you sure? There goes my wager on Jim Cummings being Lee Tockar Secret Identity.. it made so much sense, like Darkwing and Drake Mallard

Anyway good to have the final schedual out, had sent North a note or two after printing deadline about two panels booked in the same room for part of the event

There's an error with my Panel. My 3ds Furs Panel is listed form 5-6 PM Friday in the Westin 2 Somerset (on page 68) but it does not show up in the table schedule at all for Friday in the Pocket Schedule. (On Page 32)  Do I need to contact you or Arrow to get that fixed? I hope it can be fix otherwise I am in a lot of trouble.

Yea it's in the current online version, but the version that was sent to the printers Sunday night did not have it. (Assuming that was the version sent to the printers, only the publications director can confirm that, I hope he can chime in on it) However the online posting is not in hard print and can always be updated until the end of the convention. It's nice that the online version has been updated to show it on the grid on the online copy. I just need to know ratger or not it's on it on the hard print version so I need to hear from the Publications Director on this. The sooner I know the more prepared I will be for the con. Thank You

It wasn’t in the couple-days-old copy I had either, but I found it in the fresh copy. Just re-download.

Once again the fursuit friendly dances in the Westin (Friday and Saturday night) are nowhere to be found on the schedule. I hope there's at least some signage this year.

On the pdf (newest version), I see the Fursuit Friendly dances description on page 53.  The Friday and Saturday schedule times on pages 35 and 45, respectively.

The online .pdf version appears to be missing a page or two from the table of contents - it skips from Fursuit Dance Competition to Magic: the Gathering.

The National Aviary Presents: Drawing Birds is listed on the grid on Saturday from 4-6pm and again from 7-9pm.  However, only the 4-6pm session is listed in the description portion of the program.  Are there still two sessions?  I really just want to go and see their birds.  (As if I don't have enough of my own to look at. {^v^})

While I'll leave the specific answer about the Drawing Birds panel to Programming or Publications, you will also be able to see the birds at the Charity Presenation on Sunday, as well as from time to time at their table in the Dealers' Room.  If you want to get all the birds you can eat (proverbially), the Aviary is just across the bridge, walking distance for most people at about a mile.  Still need more burds?  They offer up close and personal one-on-one bird experiences at the Aviary for a shockingly reasonable price.  Or you can bid on the bird experience package planned to be offered at the Charity Auction.

Question: Is the latest Direct PDF File Download (from the link in the first post) the version of the Pocket Program that is going to print?

should put this on http://www.Sched.org , alot easier to rummage through on a digital medium (like a cell phone)

TFF2014 had their schedual on there it was super easy to use (in my opinion)

We've used Sched in 2011 and 2012; but with the efforts of AndrewNeo with MyConbook, it felt like an unnecessary duplication and a fair bit of extra work keeping it synced. We might reconsider it at some point.

A tiny mistake that I see: The "Charades Impossible!" is not bold-lettered on page 55. Since it is bold-lettered in both TOC and in the schedule chart, I assume it is really going to be interpreted. I hope it will be fun Smiling

We should just have the Sign Language folks do the charades, for efficiency!
