Anthrocon 2012 Schedule and Pocket Program
We are pleased to announce that the Programming Schedule for Anthrocon 2012 has been finalized!
We will provide you with copies of this information in a handy pocket-sized booklet when you register and/or pick up your badge at the convention; however, we like to provide this information to you in advance so that you can see what events are being offered and that you may begin planning your own convention itinerary.
Be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to availability of panelists and other circumstances outside of our control. Remember, "The best laid plans of mice and men only prove that the men should have left the planning to the mice," or something like that. We are working on preparing big poster-sized versions of the schedule that we will post at stratetic locations around the convention and which we will keep updated with any last-minute changes. You may also refer to the monitors at the Westin for any changes, news, or updates as they are received. Important updates will also be posted on our Twitter Feed (@Anthrocon).
Here is a copy of the programming guide, available online (Having trouble seeing this? Here's a direct link):
The "MyConbook" Droid/iPhone app is not officially done by Anthrocon staff, but rather by people who graciously volunteer thier time to do so.
Whether they will update it for Anthrocon this year is entirely up to them, so we can't give you an answer. Sorry.
Is there any way to view the schedule in a format that isn't like it is now? Kinda layed out linearly perhaps? I might be missing a button or something. Still looking. Thanks.
If you click on the link above, you should get a PDF version of it; then go View > Page Display,
check both Two-Up and View Cover Page; it should now look like more like the printed version will.
There's also the schedule on http://anthrocon2012.sched.org , which will proovide you a different view of the info.

Another question...
Will there be a fursuit photshoot person set up again this year? I couldn't figure out where that would have been listed and what hours?
Fursuit Photography will once again be near the Headless Zone and the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom.
Hours will include time on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; yet to be determined.
Curious if this is still subject to change.
I sent in my event form in over a month ago for a panel I am hosting, but I see it isn't listed anywhere.
This same problem happened last year.
Magi Nation card game
Was supposed to be schedualed for Friday and Saturday 2-4pm in the Tabletop Gaming section.
I couldn't find it in the schedule or maybe I didn't look hard enough but is the viewing of Bitterlake still going on? I know that Uncle Kage said last year that AnthroCon would have a panel of the movie. Atleast, I think he said that xD An answer as well as time and place of viewing would be great!
Friday, 7 PM, Ballroom.
What do you recommend people to do if they're attending the SuperSponsor Luncheon but also want to be in the fursuit parade? Is there going to be a set cutoff time for when the photo is going to be taken? Heat and me aren't the best of friends or I'd wear my fursuit to the luncheon to cut out the middleman. Any ideas?
I remember last year that someone, (conops/security/random staff/?) came into the sponsor lunch room and made an announcement that the parade was starting in (insert time here).
You could try grabbing a bit of food and then leave early to get your suit on in time for the parade.

Are they going to update the Anthrocon App with the schedule?
